Retraction & Correction

Criteria for Retractions or Corrections:

Plagiarism : Significant overlap with other works without proper credit.
Data Fabrication :Manipulated data or fraudulent research findings.
Ethical Violations : Breach of research ethics or human rights protocols.

Standard Procedures:

  • Transparency: All corrections will be clearly identified, labeled as "Erratum" or "Corrigendum", and permanently linked to the original article.
  • Retraction Notice: If a retraction is necessary, a notice will be published in the next available issue and linked to the digital version of the paper.
  • COPE Compliance: Jurnal Ilmiah Sesebanua follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) flowcharts when dealing with cases of suspected misconduct.
